Dr. Alexander Rios
Dr. Alexander Rios is originally from Jersey City, NJ. He attended Montclair State University, where he studied Molecular Biology and Chemistry. He earned a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University and earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ. He completed his Internship residency at University Hospital, Newark followed by Emergency Medicine residency training at the University of Puerto Rico.
Dr. Rios has worked in the emergency setting in a wide range of populations from Puerto/Rico, Florida, Virginia, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. As a physician, his work ethic has always focused on treating each patient as if it were his family member. His professionalism, high level of training and ability to communicate with his patients has allowed him to exceed in multiple settings.
His interest in aesthetics emerged from treating a wide range of facial procedures in the trauma setting and ensuring his patients had the best outcome. His interest became a passion as he extensively trained in various aesthetic training programs around the country. His vision of establishing a Wellness center came to fruition with the establishment of True Bliss Medical Aesthetic and Wellness Center. His passion is to work provide personalized care to his patients and together develop an optimal anti-aging and aesthetic treatment plan that will enhance how they feel about themselves. He places emphasis not only in the corrective procedures but also in educating his patients in the preventive aspects his patients can take to reverse the anti-aging process.
Dr. Rios became interested in aesthetic medicine while treating a wide range of trauma related facial procedures in the ER. His interest became a passion as he began seeking out more extensive training in various medical aesthetic modalities around the country.
Dr. Rios had a vision of establishing an organization where he could provide a personalized aesthetic medical treatment plans that would not only enhance how a patient looks but how each patient FEELS about themselves.
